What's New at Our Senior Retirement Community
SUMMERGLEN ANNOUNCES SPECIAL SAVINGS
WHEN YOU BUILD YOUR HOME THIS YEAR
If you're planning to build your Florida retirement home in 2010, SummerGlen can save your at least $10,000 off the price.
To take advantage of this price reduction, customers must sign a purchase agreement for their new home and finalize their colors and options by June 30, 2010, so that construction can be complete before the end of the year. "This is a great opportunity to save substantially on a new home for those who want to be in their homes by next winter," said Tom Eleazer, vice president of marketing of Florida Leisure Communities, SummerGlen's builder.
As an example, SummerGlen's popular new Siesta Key III floorplan (shown at left), which usually sells for $162,900, can be purchased now for $152,900, making its already exceptional value even better. And your price may even be lower, based on construction and closing dates--call 800-277-8707 for full details.
To see the actual price reduction for each of SummerGlen's models, click on the Portfolio Of Homes menu option above. According to Tom Eleazer, this special pricing will be available only as long as construction slots are available on the 2010 schedule. "These slots are filling up fast, as we only have so many start days remaining to ensure that closings can occur in this current year," he said.

FIRST HOMES COMPLETED IN FINAL PHASE
OF SUMMERGLEN
SummerGlen has now completing the first homes in the final 142-home phase of the SummerGlen community. Advance home sales in this phase began in late 2009, and construction of these homes began immediately up completion of roads and utlilities in early 2010.
This final phase is part of SummerGlen's Horizons neighborhood. The first selection of homesites in this phase opened in 2009. A variety of lot styles are available in the Horizons neighborhood, including standard homesites, oversized sites, view sites and "flag" sites. Homebuyers who purchase their sites in the last phase of Horizons can elect to close anytime before 2012, or they can take advantage of the outstanding incentives offered under SummerGlen's "Build Now" program.
Because this is the final selection of homesites that will ever be offered in SummerGlen, you should choose your homesite early if you are thinking of building at sometime in the future.
This recently completed phase will also include a brand new Model Home Center, scheduled to open in September 2010.

HOMES NOW EVEN MORE ENERGY EFFICIENT
SummerGlen continues to set new standards in building "green" energy efficient homes. We've just made Tailored Foam insulation standard on exterior walls of all SummerGlen homes. Tailored Foam is a foam insulation that is pressure injected into the open cells of a home's exterior concrete block walls. Since this process seals the walls completely, it keeps out the heat, humidity, bugs, and noise. Tailored Foam achieves the highest "R" value and reduces air infiltration better than any other type of masonry insulation.
We've also increased the ceiling insulation in all living areas to an incredibly efficient R-48. Plus we've increased the SEER rating on SummerGlen homes air conditioning systems to a high-efficiency 13 SEER value. These improvements means SummerGlen homeowners will enjoy homes that are more comfortable, quiet and efficient than ever before. And homeowners will be helping to save our planet's resources, while at the same time saving substantially on their energy bills.
These new standards put SummerGlen in the forefront of "green" homebuilding technology. All of our homes now meet or exceed the green building standards established by the National Association of Homebuilders. That means that we build them to minimize the impact of construction on the earth and design them so that you can live comfortably with minimal impact on our planet’s resources. At SummerGlen, we believe you can “live green” without paying a premium for the privilege of living in an eco-friendly community. That's why we've incorporated all of these green building standards and environmentally-friendly features to be included in the standard price of every home we sell.
