Unlike many builders in Florida retirement Communities, SummerGlen doesn't force you to accept standard floorplans and "as is." We believe your new home should reflect your unique personality and lifestyle, and we've designed a special process to help you make your new home dreams come true.

Build-Com is a valuable part of the purchase of your SummerGlen home. It means "building your home through the process of communication." Through the Build-Com process, you will have the opportunity to work with our professionals to give your home a unique personality that matches your lifestyle through selection of options, upgrades and colors.

All SummerGlen homeowners receive a package of customized services that are designed to make sure that you will own a home that you will love and can be proud of. We call this package of services Build-Com. This usually begins witih a full-day appointment with your Build-Com coordinator so that he or she can help you with your home options and color selections. Then we keep you informed throughout the building process so that you always know the status of your new home.

Build-Com includes the following special services that we provide on a one-to-one basis to every SummerGlen home purchaser at no additional charge:

Design Counseling	Helping to make your home all you want it to be by helping you decide on the features and floorplan styles that work best for your personality and lifestyle.
Material Selections	Working with you on choices such as carpet, vinyl, tile, cabinets, counterops and shingle color.
Color Selections	Assisting you in selecting and coordianting colors for paint, flooring, appliances and other finishes.
Option Selections	Suggesting options you may want to consider, such a paddle fans, lighting fixtures, upgraded applliances and home electronics options.
Home Placement	Orienting your home on the homesite in cases where adjustments are possible.
Personalization	Planning personal touches and special features to make your home truly unique, such as built-in packages, luxury bath options and gourmet kitchens.
Status Updates	Keeping you informed as to the progress of your new home while it is under construction. Of course, you're always welcome to visit your new home during the construction process.
